- 小城镇发展是统筹城乡经济社会发展的一个重要途径，是实现农村城镇化、工业化，实现城乡一体化，最终实现区域可持续发展的必由之路。通过对新疆小城镇发展的现状、问题进行分析后，明确了发展小城镇的重要作用，从区域经济发展的角度提出了小城镇建设的对策。
- Abstract:
- The small town construction is an important way to unit the economic development of city and rural area; it is also an indispensable way to realize the urbanization and industrialization of the rural area and to realize the integration between city and rural area, and eventually to achieve the sustainable development.By analyzing the actuality and problem of small town development in Xinjiang,the important function of small town development is clarified.At last,the authors put forward the strategy of small town construction from angle of regional economic development.
