Based on the county level panel data, we analyzed the change and regional disparities of the arable land use intensity and input factors intensity in He’nan Province from 1994 to 2008. Then we constructed econometric model to analyze the influencing factors on arable land use intensity of He’nan Province. The results showed that:(1) from 1994 to 2008, arable land use intensity, chemical fertilizer intensity, plastic film intensity, pesticide intensity, agricultural machinery power intensity, agricultural diesel oil intensity were all in growing trend, on the contrary, labor intensity began to decline after reaching the highest point in 2000; (2) regional difference of arable land use intensity showed a waving trend, and labor intensity took on obvious periodic; (3) economic development level and agricultural policy had a significant positive influence on arable land use intensity, per capita actual area and price indices of means of agricultural production were just the opposite. Therefore, He’nan Province should pay more attention to agricultural ecological environment problems caused by the increase of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and make poor areas fully realize the intensive and efficient utilization of the arable land use intensity by increasing agricultural support.
