The combination of low-carbon economy and intensive land-use utilization was rarely studied in the intensive land-use field. This paper attempts to evaluate the intensive land-use in Chongqing from low-carbon view, build a low-carbon intensive land-use evaluation index system with the AHP method, and establish an intensive land-use evaluation model which focuses on low-carbon view of Chongqing City by the fuzzy synthetic evaluation method, analyze obstacle degree on the evaluation results, and provide a reference for low-carbon intensive land-use evaluation research. And the evaluation results show that: (1) the land-use in Chongqing City is moving towards intensification and low-carbonization, and land investment intensity and land output level play a major role from 2005 to 2011; (2) the main factors affecting low-carbon intensive land-use in Chongqing City are land low-carbon level, land sustainability and land use degree. These evaluation results reflect the intensive land-use situation in perspective of low-carbon in Chongqing City, analyze the influencing factors of low-carbon intensive land-use in Chongqing City, and provide decision support for low-carbon intensive land-use in the future.
