According to a dynamic state evaluation on ecological security of land resources around 20 years in Guiyang city, this paper aimd at improving the ecological environment and providing guidance for planning and management and maintaining sustainable utilization of land resources. Land ecological security evaluation index system of Guiyang city under the background of urbanization based on the PSR model was constructed. The multi-index comprehensive evaluation method was adopted to calculate the level of ecological security of land resources. SPSS statistic software and GM(1,1) model were used to make correlation analysis and short time series estimation. Nearly 20 years, the index of land ecological security in Guiyang city was in the grade of deterioration from 1992 to 2000, at risk level from 2001 to 2009 and sensitive stage from 2010 to 2011. Although the land ecological security index was a rising trend generally, almost at the stage of insecurity ; correlation analysis showed that the response from the social and economic activities of human beings had a great impact on ecological environment of land resources; the prediction showed that the pressure-state-response value and comprehensive value of ecological security of land resources presented a rising trend in 5 years after 2011, there has been a large potential development on good circulation of land eco-environment. Nevertheless, this study area ecosystem is significantly vulnerable and sensitive. Some kinds of reasonable measures were adopted to protect the land ecological environment, such as controlling the population growth, optimizing social population structure, accelerating the upgrade of industrial transformation, constructing green economic system, making overall plan for the coordinate development of town and city, exploreing conservation intensive land use patterns under the new-type urbanization vigorously. Enlarging protection environment and establishing an ecological compensation mechanism are the very urgent task to ensure the ecological security of land resources.
