Abstract:: County oasis city is the foundation and carrier of national economy and social development in the arid area. Coordinating the internal relationship among economy, society and environment has significance for building a moderately prosperous society in county oasis city. This paper deals with the evaluation of environmental, social and economic coordinative development in the county oasis city of Usu based on the improved entropy method, coupling coordination degree and coordination development trend index mode. The results show that the trend of coordinated development, economic and social development index is rising, but the index is lower, environment development index is relatively high, but the trend index has obvious down trend. Its purpose is to reveal that there is significant positive correlation between economic and social development indexes, the inverted ‘N’ coupling relation between economic and environmental development indexes, and the ‘W’ coupling relation between social and environmental development indexes were found. The mechanism among economy, society and environment is natural, interactional and coupling, and the harmonious development of the previous three is the basis for the realization of the coordinated development in county oasis cities in the arid area.
