To discuss the idea of land nutrient evaluation under new circumstances, based on the principle of land ecological health assessment, which can provide references for the adjustment of regional land use, three counties are selected in northeast of Henan Province as example. The integrated soil fertility quality is determined according to the spatial combination of indices of soil nutrients, which are assessed in terms of the standard of state. The results indicate that the spatial distribution of soil fertility quality at the middle level. It is concluded that the land ecological assessment can clearly reflect the relationship between changes in land use and social economic development. It can further accelerate the compatibleness among land use, economic zoning, and carrying capacity of resources and environment, and also enhance the sustainable development ability.
