Yaogou Small Watershed, a soil and water conservation demonstration zone, was chosen as the research object to set up an effect evaluation index system from the view of physical environment and social and economical characters. Based on the theory and methodology of eco-economics, field survey and basic data collection, a relatively completive benefit evaluation index system has been set up. The quantitative evaluation of synthetic benefit of soil and water conservation in this zone was conducted by using analytical hierarchy process(AHP) and multi-hierarchy fuzzy evaluation mothed. The results showed that the synthetic benefit indices of the years of 2006, 2007 and 2008 were 55, 65 and 77, respectively, its ecological and economic system has entered into primarily sustainable stage, and among three kinds of benefits, its ecological benefit and social benefit get remarkable increase from 58 and 81 in 2006 to 98 and 100 in 2008, respectively.
