Arsenic contamination soils have become a serious issue in relation to environmental and public health, which gained the close attention of the people. This article reviews the status, sources and danger of arsenic contamination soils, and the physical-chemical remediation and bioremediation (especially phytoremediation) technology are also discussed. In addition, the future study on remediation technology for arsenic-contaminated soils was prospected.
