- Abstract:

The changes of land use/cover and landscape pattern had been analyzed in this paper,using the land use data of 1987,1995,2003 and 2007 in four selected prefectures of Kulun,Keerqin,Kangpin and Faku as topic agro-pasture zigzag zone in Northeast China by using Zhao Ha-lin’s method with ArcInfo and ArcView.The results showed that the areas of farmland and grassland obviously decreased,while the areas of unused land increased,and the areas of forest land and construction land kept less increase,then water land kept less decrease.The major patterns of land use change are the conversions of farmland to grassland and unused land,forest land to grassland,and grassland to unused land.The driving forces of the LUCC in topic agro-pasture zigzag zone in Northeast China are the pressure of increasing population and ecological policies.
