Hydro-network is the standardized representation of the watersheds’ river network by the Geographical Information System, and it is able to completely describe the topological relationship of the components of hydro-network. The key to build a hydro-network model lies in defining the components of hydro-network and establishing the association among these components. In this paper, using DEM to extract the components of landform, and then to build a vector data hydro-network model, much attention was paid to the discussion of how to get the confluence relationship of the watersheds’ river network based on this model. And this methods of building hydro-network model was applied to the Xiannangou watershed.
