SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) is a distributed hydrological model of basin for long periods which has very strong physical mechanics. This paper has taken the Yunzhou reservoir basin in north Beijing mountain area as the example, the application of the automatic calibration module of SWAT model was studied by using the automatic calibration module of SWAT model to do parameter rating and test. By automatic adjusting and parameters adjusting, the runoff was simulated accurately. At the same time, by the model effectiveness testing, the value of Ens is 0.78, the fitting degree of the simulation value and the measured value is high. From the simulation results, it’s clear that the applicaiton of the automatic calibration module of SWAT model in the Yunzhou reservoir basin is successful.
