According to fieldwork Qiemo Oasis, annual statistics, analysis on water resources-the ecological environment-coupling system of economic and social interaction, discussion on the coupling system of sustainable development model, and using of fuzzy optimization model transforming a number of evaluation indicators into a single indicator and the description of the complexity of the level of sustainable development of water resources system evaluation methods, combining with Qiemo oasis water resources development and utilization of the actual situation, the relationship between Qiemo regional sustainable utilization of water resources and the coordination of economic and social development was studied. Based on the quantitative analysis on integrated water resource system in the Qiemo Oasis from 2003 to 2007, results showed that the level of utilization of water resources for sustainable development in Qiemo Oasis increased year by year, and the maximum of Qiemo Oasis sustainable degree of water resource systems is 0.239 5 in 2007, all in all, the level is relatively low and there is also a larger potential development space. Results can provide decision-making support for sustainable use and management of water resources in Qiemo Oasis.
