In this paper, 4 kinds of new special compound fertilizers with different additives, such as lignin+weathered coal+borax, lignin+borax, weathered+borax and borax, were used in pot experiment. Effects of new special fertilizers on physiological activity, biomass and nutrient use efficiency in beans were studied. The results showed that bean biomass increased by 13.02%, 10.25% and 13.26% with 3 new special fertilizers respectively; soluble protein content and nitrate reductase activity in leaves and accumulation of nutrient in plants increased significantly; utilizations of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium increased by 5.5%~7.0%, 0.6%~1.5% and 4.8%~6.1% respectively.
