Sensitivity analysis of soil erosion is one of significant contents that relate to ecological susceptive assessment. On the basis of ArcGIS software, it utilizes the method of comprehensive index to completely appraise the status of soil erosion sensitivity in Shandong province. There are various kinds of sensitivities of soil erosion in regions of Shandong province, within them the regions that are moderate and high sensitivity of soil erosion account for 25.21% of total area of whole province, these regions are easily subject to produce soil and water loss; extreme and high sensitivity of soil erosion is mainly distributed in these regions such as hills of Luzhong-South, highlands of Jiaodong and Yellow Plains. As a result, it suggests that strengthening the protection of vegetation and developing ecological agriculture should be the significant measurement that is responsible for environmental protection in ecological susceptive regions of Shandong province.
