Abstract:: According to water quality requirement of the river health, the water environmental capacity of Manas River and Moguhu reservoir were calculated under the designed hydrological conditions in this paper. Based on contamination prediction, the gross pollutants control scheme for the years of 2010 and 2015 in the river and the reservoir was proposed, providing a scientific basis for water resources protection and management.
