Abstract:: Soil and water loss is the serious environmental problem in Three Gorges Reservoir area, and it is more serious in Chongqing. Base on the RS and GIS, the soil erosion characteristics,spatial distribution, dynamic changes, and the regionalization of soil and water loss are analyzed in the paper.Furthermore,the soil and water loss characteristics of each sub-area, and the management measures are also described in the paper.
