Abstract:: Karst landforms are very typical and distributed widely in Guizhou province where the groundwater resources are abundant,average natural supplement amount of groundwater in karst region is 478.41×10⁸m³/a,drainage amount in dry season amount to 258.68×10⁸m³/a,but the present developed amount of groundwater resources is only 25.031×10⁸m³/a.The paper analyzed the superiority of developing and utilizing groundwater resources in Guizhou karst region,taking Puding county as an example,five models are put forward for developing and utilizing groundwater resources in Guizhou karst region.And finally some problems should be noticed in the proceeding of developing groundwater of karst region and their corresponding countermeasures were suggested.
