Abstract:: Altay mountain wetland is one of the largest wetland ecosystem in arid Xinjiang area,which has various important eco-service benefits like supporting water sources,flood diversion and storage,modulating climate and water regime.There are abundant biodiversities including gene,species and ecosystem diversity.It has capacity to degrade and enrich contaminations and purify the water,supply the recreation travel and scientific and cultural research and so on.However,there are some unilateral ideas and non-reasonable utilization for Altay mountain wetland,some problems for the sustainable utilization of service benefit of wetland ecosystem is discussed,and the scientific strategies for wetland sustainable utilization are presented.
