Abstract:: In order to discuss the relationship of different vegetation type and soil erosion,choosing Yimeng mountain area,using China’s vegetation type classification table,this paper makes out the spatial distribution figure of different vegetation landscape type.Then combined with the distribution figure of soil erosion and took the means of GIS crossed classification,this paper obtains the quantitative relationship of Yimeng mountain area’s different vegetation landscape type and soil erosion.Generally speaking,the soil erosion of temperate zone’s defoliation brushwood and coppice are most serious in Yimeng mountain area.
