The river sediment results from the reaction between soil erosion and hydrological characteristics. Its spatial distribution pattern and time change regulation can reflect temporal and spatial progress of the watershed soil erosion. This article use the data of hydrology and sediment in Guizhou province to analyze sediment transport modulus. The results show that the river sediment distribution pattern and time change are almost consistent with vegetation variation characteristics and human activities. The sediment transport modulus distribution shows a tendency of higher in the west and lower in the east, and appears a periodic change per 3 or 4 years in basically. Before 1965,the smaller modulus value often occurs, but the situation was opposite after that year. There are significant for further analysis and research on the relationship between runoff and sediment and soil erosion evolution process by the case of lower water and transport sediment amount in 1966,1967 and normal flow and higher transport sediment in 1971,1972.
