The soil organic content is the main index of measuring soil fertility. The essence of soil and water losses to land productivity’s damage is the loss or decline in soil fertility. In order to study the quantitative relation of soil organic content and soil and water losses, we had done a four year expriment on the sloping land of 10~12° in wangjiagou watershed. The result show that it can ruduce runoff 4.8~12.4 percent and amount of soil erosion 31.5%~35.4% if executing into the organic fertilizer 30 000~75 000 kg/(hm2·a).
