Debris flow is one of the geologic hazard which often is seen in mountain area, but it is difficult to be recognized because of its low frequency and indiscernible character of occurrence. Once the debris flow occurred, the heaven lose will be happened. Studying the dynamic characteristics and hazard risk assessment can help us to know debris flow and provide parameter for prevention engineer design. Based on the field investigation data of Shitougou, the cause of formation is analyzed, the dynamic parameters are calculated and the risk of debris flow is evaluated, which can provide basis data for Shitougou debris flow mitigation.
