This article has first outlined the current situation in the study of landscape geochemistry both at home and abroad, and then took the Tarim River, a typical representative of Inland River in arid zone as the case study. The hydrological geochemistry characteristic of surface water, the soil element geochemistry characteristic and the different vegetation type biogeochemistry characteristic were analyzed separately. Finally, the natural and human factors which affected the evolvement of landscape geochemistry environment were analyzed. Natural factors includes climate, geological, terrain landform and hydrology geology geochemistry environmental factor and so on, and large-scale hydraulic engineering and humanity’s agricultural production activity are important power factor in the evolvement of landscape geochemistry environment in the Tarim River basin.
