Abstract:: According to the principle of protecting and improving environment and the target of sustainable land use, and the thought of improvement, harmony, preventability and release, land resource evaluation factors and their classification indices in Liaoning province were determined based on land resource evaluation indicators, land classes and evaluation standard of land rank. Ecological sensitivity of land use was quantified based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and aggregative indicator method (AIM) to establish ecological sensitive areas of land use and ecological controlling areas. Eventually, land controlling indices and suggests of land use and ecological construction in Liaoning province were proposed.
