Abstract:: Land use/cover information is the precondition and foundation of LUCC (land use/cover change) which is indispensable to globe change research.Decision tree classifier is a kind of classification model which uses certain rules to gradually thinning the image.It has intuitionistic and high-effect features.Classify Longkou land use/cover on the basis of synthetically analyzing various characters of each kind of land use/cover, melting spectral characteristic, spectral characteristic, band ratio etc.into the decision tree classifier, which has a good result.
