In order to more accurately estimate the current status of agricultural non-point source pollution(ANSP)in the Beipan River Basin(Qinglong Section)located in southwestern China, an improved export coefficient model(IECM)was developed by integrating the precipitation and terrain impact factor into the conventional export coefficient model. The results indicated that the loads of TN and TP of the agricultural non-point source pollutants in the research area in 2017 were 2 582.00 t and 246.74 t, respectively; the distribution characteristics of the two are basically the same, showing the characteristics of uneven distribution: Pollution load is locally concentrated. And then, the load is higher in areas with higher slopes and high population densities; the contribution rates of different ANSP to TN and TP loads provided the similar trend and deceased in the order: livestock>land use>rural life; compared with the actual observations, the average relative deviations of the IECM estimates of TN and TP loads were 9.80% and 2.09%, respectively, which indicated that the IECM improved the accuracy of model simulation and provided reference information of model selection for the estimation of ANSP in the karst area ofsouthwestern China.
