Remote sensing image data of Xinhe’s from 2008 to 2013 were used to explored the rule of changes of land structure, and discussed the resulting ecological risk. For the study area, in 2008—2013 the two landscape remote sensing showed the basic information, and according to the structure characteristics of different periods of landscape elements ecological risk index was constructed. System space sampling method was used to analyse the ecological risk index variable space. The the sampling results of ecological risk index were analyzed by using half variant function and spatial interpolation, thus the space of the ecological risk in the study area and internal mechanism were revealed. The results showed that from 2008 to 2013, forestland area in the study region and other land area were decreasing, whereas other land area reduced, the most obvious change was followed by woodland area. Arable land and water area were almost the same;grassland area and construction land area were increasing;during the whole research period, the ecosystem risk value in of the study area changed. Overall, the ecological environment in the study area was deteriorating from 2008 to 2013.
