- Characteristics of soil and water loss in the Nanning-Baise branch project area of the second West-East Gas Pipeline Project were investigated, soil and water conservation strategies were designed according to the actual conditions of the project, and the strategies which combine soil and water conservation engineering, planting design, and temporary measures to conserve soil and water were discussed in detail in this article.
