To optimize the layout of land use coordinating the relationship between economic development and ecological environmental protection has become a hot research topic. On the basis of the introduction of systematic conservation planning theory, the county-level regional was selected as the evaluation units, the the eco-environmental stress model was constructed to, quantitatively evaluate the conditions of ecological environment of the evaluation units, simulation model of ecological land demand was built. The results show that: (1) only 13 counties are at a low pressure level, there are 44 counties at the middle pressure level, 6 conties are at the high pressure level, ecological situation is not ideal; (2) the counties where lack of ecological land is relatively significant mainly concentrate in the northern region of Jiangsu, the distribution is concentrated. The model of eco-environmental pressure calculation and ecological land demand simulation were built in this study to evaluate the pressure on the regional ecological environment and simulate the requirements for ecological land, the obtained result is more realistic, and has a certain practical significance.
