The maritime glaciers in the Gangrigabu Range are the most sensitive to climate change in China. Landsat data were processed by using a method of band ratio to extract the glacier boundaries in 2005 and 2013. The lower limit altitude of glaciers distribution increased 61 meters. And it was concluded that the area of the glaciers in the Gangrigabu Range decreased by 72.28 km2 (15.75%) from 2005 to 2013. Precipitation was the main factor influencing glacier scale and temperature was the main factor influencing glacier number. The most important reason for glacial retreat was rising temperature. It is estimated that the glacier retreat rate will accelerate.
