The overall land-use planning has a profound impact on the ecological environment due to adjusting the land structure and land layout. It will have important theoretical and practical significance on the scientific land use decisions and the regional ecological environment protection that its eco-environmental impact assessment is carried out. Taking the grid as the evaluation unit, combining with the method of ecosystem service value and the GIS spatial analysis functions, the ecological environment impact of the overall land-use planning of Nanchuan District was quantitatively evaluated. The evaluation results showed that: (1) the planning leads the ecological land area to increase effectively and the ecological service value increases 77.793 6 million Yuan that increased by 7.69%; (2) by the planning target year, the area that the ecological environment condition variation R was positive would amount to 92.32% of the total, however, only 2.65% of the region became poor obviously; (3) the overall ecological environment condition would have been improved significantly in the planning target year that illustrated the feasibility of this planning program from the perspective of ecological and environmental protection.
