The pros and cons of the river water quality flowing through a city response to the level of development of the urban environment directly. Fuzzy pattern recognition application to the river water quality evaluation of this article, evaluation of the degree of river pollution is objective and reasonable, and reflects the status of the water quality of the environment accurately. According to the principle of selection of the evaluation, seven selected evaluation indicators were permanganate index, BOD, COD, ammonia nitrogen, eta. Pollution levels were divided into Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ grade based on the standard of surface water environmental quality GB3838-2002.Using the weighted average index weights determined and built a water quality evaluation of fuzzy pattern recognition model to evaluate the annual monitoring of the Hun River water quality in Febreary, April, July, August, October, December from 2006 to 2009. The results showed that the Hun River pollution was more serious.
