To ascertain the regulation schemes of groundwater reasonably, using BP algorithm, this paper studied the changing process of groundwater regime of urban area of Baoji city, established the prediction model of groundwater regime and predicted the changes of groundwater of the future 3 years after training the groundwater data of the years from 2000 to 2005. The results showed that the prediction coincided with the practical one, which showed that the BP model could be used to predict the groundwater level of urban area of Baoji city. Based on the model, combined with the present situation of water resources development and use of urban area of Baoji and the program of hydraulic project construction in the future, this paper put up the groundwater regulation schemes of different future level years and the reasonable suggestions of the development and use of groundwater resources of urban area of Baoji city.
