Article took the soil enzyme activity and plant species diversity of the typical shrub in the limestone area of central Guizhou as the research object. The result shows: the soil enzyme activity is obviously stronger in the rhizosphere soil than that in the non-rhizosphere soil. There is a close positive correlation between the rhizosphere, non-rhizosphere soil enzyme and plant species diversity of the coniferous forests in the shrub layer, whereas a negative correlation is found in the herb layer. Correlation coefficients between the soil enzyme and plant species diversity of the coniferous forests in the rhizosphere soil are positively high than that in the non-rhizosphere soil. The research shows that the plant affects the soil enzyme activity. At the same time, it further indicates that the number and composition of plant have some relations with the soil enzyme activity.
