Litter storage, maximal water-holding capacity, natural moisture content, effective dammed-up of litter of Larix pricipis-rupprechtⅡ man-made forest were studied in order to disclosure effect on water-holding capacity of litter of Larix pricipis-rupprechtⅡ forest under different treatments. The results showed that litter storage and water-holding capacity incresesd with time prolong, litter storage were that banding clear cutting>manual promote renew>gap selection cutting>closed promote vegetation>no-closed. And its rate of growth between 2.94% and 10.21% after closed 2 years. In general, the maximal water-holding capacity, natural moisture content, effective dammed-up, gap selection cutting>banding clear cutting>manual promote renew>closed promote vegetation>no-closed, which rate of growth one bye one between 0.48%, 0.13%, -0.14% and 5.58%, 10.40%, 5.82% after closed 2 years. Its approved closed measure was valued. These treatments are effectives measures for vegetation rebuild of Larix pricipis-rupprechtⅡ forest in North Hebei mountain area.
