The evaluation of the benefits of soil and water conservation plays an important role in the scientific system of soil and water conservation, and has become one of the most popular topics with both scientists and conservationist. This paper systematically analyzed the present research situation and problems on the benefit evaluation of soil and water conservation. And then, the paper suggested a regional-scale evaluation parameter system. Meanwhile, the prevalent methods of benefit evaluation were introduced. Finally, we looked ahead the trend of the research on benefit evaluation.
