The soil erosion leads to the ecology worsening and the origin of the impoverished.The soil erosion affects human in the karst area more than the other region.This article takes Nanchuan area in Chongqing as an example and obtains the soil erosion intensity chart in 1988 and in 2000 with the TM remote sensing image by the ERDAS remote sensing software and the GIS software.It analyzed these two time soil erosion intensity shift change situation using the map algebra principle; And through the soil erosion intensity chart and the soil erosion correlation geography characteristic (lithological character,slope,aspect,elevation,land utilization and so on) overlay analysis,it obtains the performance of the soil erosion in the different geography characteristics.It obtains the relation that the increase of the rain intensity and slope leads to the increase of loss of soil and water through the artificial rain simulation in the room.It provided a basis for governing the loss of soil and water,which important significance to local economic development.
