This paper is based on the identification by that the average grain diameter by size grading approach and by qualitative determination approach can work as co-regionalized variable, then took more average grain diameter information by qualitative determination approach and let them as main variables to estimate average grain diameter of rock formation of unsaturated zone in large scale by co-kriging approach. The variability of average grain diameter of rock formation of unsaturated zone has been analyzed by those estimated information and the spatial variability map for average grain diameter of rock formation of unsaturated zoon has been given too. This study not only got accuracy results but also provide a simple approach for getting the spatial variability of average grain diameter of rock formation of unsaturated zone.
