Evaluation of wetlands ecosystem service has attracted increasing attentions and become the hit topic of the wetlands science. Relevant researches on evaluation of wetlands ecosystem service are reviewed in this paper from the aspects of use and non-use values and the assessment methods characterized by study sites and value compositions for wetlands ecosystem services. According to various correlative and typical case studies of wetlands ecosystem, the evaluation results are analyzed in detail to reveal the inherent characteristics. Furthermore, some suggestions are put forward to develop the evaluation of wetlands ecosystem service based on the current research progress.
