According to the soil moisture content determination under the apple forest land in Chang’an and under the Chinese parasol tree forest land and the poplar tree forest land in Qujiang, the soil moisture content of 0-6 m and the restoration of the soil-dried layer has been studied. The results indicate, after the abundant water year in Chang’an under artificial forest land, the soil moisture content is more obviously different than the normal year, under 12 ages apples forest land in 2-4 m depth scope the soil layer water content is 11.77%, and 15.27% in 14 ages apples forest land; After the abundant water year in Qujiang, the soil layer water content in 2-4 m depth scope, under 12 ages poplar trees forest land is equal to 18.53%, under 14 ages Chinese parasol trees forest land is equal to 17.24%, the soil-dried layer obviously vanished. This indicates under the condition of increases in the precipitation, in south of the loess plateau the moisture content of the soil-dried layer is possible to restore completely. After 2.5 years in abundant water year in Qujiang and Chang’an under the planted forest land the restored depth of soil layer moisture content is possible to achieve 6 m approximately. Difference of different tree seed water content is big, under the apple forest land the dried-belt moisture content to restore is obviously lower than under the Chinese parasol tree and the poplar tree forest land.
