The ecological environment is affected and restricted by many factors. According to the natural conditions and the human disturbance conditions in the Tongbai-Dabie Mountain Area of Huai River Basin, this paper builds the Eco-environmental vulnerability evaluation index system, and evaluates comprehensively the Eco-environmental vulnerability of the Tongbai-Dabie Mountain Area of Huai River Basin qualitatively and quantitatively, based on the principal component analysis of the GIS software -ARCINFO. Then using the spatial analysis of GIS, it is easy to find the area and spatial distribution of different vulnerability grades.This study provides a scientific basis to make policies of governance and ecological restoration.
