In the south edge of Horqin sandy land, taking serious desertification grassland as subject, the effects of reseeding on vegetation restoration in desertification grassland are researched by designing artificial reseeding tests and investigating the vegetation characteristics in desertification grassland which adopted the measures of airplane seed sowing in last 9 years. The results show that the measures of airplane seed sowing and artificial reseeding all have significant function. The coverage, mean height, branch number and aerial part biomass in desertification grassland which adopted the measures of airplane seed sowing in last 9 years increased 2.71 times, 1.91 times, 1.54 times and 3.85 times more than the control plot. The measures of airplane seed sowing has a long-term improvement effect on the vegetation characteristics of the desertification grassland. And the effect of artificial line seeding is better than dibble seeding and broadcast.
