Abstract:: In this article, with combination of the pilot practice under UK Trust Fund China Watershed Management Project (CWMP), the merits and characteristics of application of participatory approach and Community-driven Development (CDD) under the pilot package are introduced and analyzed. Some practical experiences are drawn and distilled and suggestions on applying participatory approach and CDD are put forward.
