In the process of protection and exploitation and management of Geopark, we can improve efficiency and quality of management and serve tourists better by use of GIS. The principle, goal, flow chart of system constructing and design of database are introduced detailedly by case of Mount Taishan Geopark. The system is separated into seven subsystems, such as general, geological relic management, multimedia, sight spot layout, tourism consultation, tourism statistic analysis and system maintenance. And function of every subsystem is introduced one by one. The system structure and implementation method based ArcIMS is analyzed and described. Mount Taishan Geopark tourism information system is realized on the whole.
