- Abstract:
- The sustainable utilization of land resources influences the sustainable development of social economy. This paper briefly analyzed land use changes and environmental problem in Yuxi City. The results showed that expanding speed of land use scale become more and more fast. The land resource in Yuxi City are confronting severe problems, such as the large population with little lands, the rapid decreasing in the land resources, the high utilized rates, the shortage of reserved land resources and son on. The environmental effects following the development process of land use in Yuxi were the increasingly severe water, air, soil and solid discharge pollution. Therefore, to realize the sustainable utilization of the land resources, measures must be taken to control the growth of population, be strengthen the management of land resources, increase its productivity, optimize its utilizable structure and improve its eco-environment.
