- Abstract:

Agricultural land class is the evaluation of natural quality differences of agricultural land in the national scale, while grade is the evaluation in regional scale. This study has researched how to complete the agricultural land grading in county scale under the support of GIS and agricultural land classification production of province scale. What is more, taking Pingyin county as the example, we have established the grading modification index system in county scale. And the grading result is in concordance with the reality. It is proved that this method for agricultural land grading is scientific and efficient. Meanwhile, the application of GIS in the procedure has improved the grading efficiency. This study can provide reference for agricultural land grading in county scale.
