- Abstract:
- Loess cave is a kind of special micro-geomorphology and geological hazard in the Loess Plateau of west of Shanxi province.Based on the field survey,this paper summarizes the distribution of loess caves and the characteristic features.Researches show the characteristic density of loess caves increase by degrees with Wanrong-Xixian-Lishi-Xingxian conuty in west of Shanxi province.The combined function of various factors controls the characteristic depth,including layer,loess quality,depth,topography and so on.The tectonic joints of loess have great influence on loess caves formation,its attitude and loess caves attitude being consistent.The interior tectonic feature that is diversification reflects the different evolution characters.
