Abstract:: Based on plenty of surveys and analysis of data in Zhaojue county of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture,the paper points out the types of geological disasters include landslide、debris flow、unstable slope and collapse(crack).This paper studies the causes of geological disasters from internal and external conditions;features of geological disasters embody three aspects:characteristics of region,rock,gradient and height in space;prominent seasonal occurrence and evolution in time;Geological disaster threat degree is from small scale primarily,and landslides are the largest number of huge and medium risks.Finally,this paper explores issues existed in geological disaster prevention and cure of Zhaojue County;countermeasures of geological disasters should concentrate on strengthening propaganda,performing duties,technology research,scientific management,increasing invests and so on.
