The paper researched estimation of soil erosion on the base of GIS platform by integrating USLE.Taking suburb watershed of Xi’ning city as research area,spatial database of watershed have been established by GIS soft,i.e.Arcview and Micro images TNT.Based on the GIS’s function of raster spatial analysis,the watershed is discreted into uniform grids with the cell of 10m×10m and established Grid data after selecting reasonable USLE factor values.Prediction of soil erosion and classification have been achieved and spatial analysis function,scientific basis for land-use and soil conservation in suburb watershed of Xi’ning city will be provided.
