- By making experiments, anti-collapse ability of soil in Xiaojiang River Basin is researched in the different soil types and land use types.The result indicates anti-collapse ability of soil in Xiaojiang River Basin is great; The average collapse velocity of brown soil is bigger than the others.The average collapse velocity of yellow-red soil is the least; in terms of land use, the grassland is the biggest in anti-collapse, the farmland and scrublands is less than grassland in anti-collapse, and the bare slope is the least in anti-collapse; the anti-collapse ability of soil in Xiaojiang River Basin is in inverse proportion to the contents of grain in less than 0.002 mm.
